Description
New generation 4K native, single-chip projector with all the advantages of the P50, but even more compact. The lightweight projector is perfect in multi-channel systems. With Norxe Unify onboard, P55 is easy to install, control and monitor. It supports up to 240Hz refresh rates at 4K resolution.
Superior picture quality
With advanced color processing, high resolution, enhanced contrast, smooth motion handling, and versatile connectivity, our projectors deliver unparalleled image quality.
Compact design with single-chip DLP
A single imaging device is used to create the image. This allows for a more compact mechanical design. A single-chip projector is more robust for motion platforms as it eliminates the need for alignment and leads the way in lightweight projectors. The P10 and the P55 both weigh in at only 18.5kg/40.8Ibs.
True solid-state Illumination
Norxe only uses true solid-state light sources such as LED/NXL™. True solid-state technology is important in a projector because it eliminates the need for fragile and expensive service components like color- and phosphor wheels. The use of true solid-state technology in projectors brings improved reliability, energy efficiency, durability, and image quality, making it an appealing choice for demanding applications.
Long lifetime and low maintenance
Due to our advanced light source technology and thermal design, all our projectors have a long lifetime with low frequency maintenance. In fact, on P10 and P55, the only serviceable parts are easily replaceable fan cartridges which should be changed at 50,000 hours (native resolution).
WPT and CLO
White Point Tracking (WPT) is a feature incorporated into the P-Series projectors to ensure consistent and linear color performance. Regardless of the projector’s runtime hours or illumination power settings, WPT maintains the desired white point. This is valid also when enabling the projector’s dual iris feature for black level enhancement. With CLO (Constant Light Output) enabled, users can set a fixed illumination intensity for each projector, postponing the otherwise constant loss of brightness over time.
Stable and rugged construction for both fixed and motion-based applications
The hermetically sealed DMD and true solid-state LED illumination make the projection perform to perfection in any orientation on static and motion platforms. With our proprietary lens lock feature the lens can easily be secured to the projector chassis, eliminating unwanted vibrations in motion-based systems.
Night vision
All Norxe projectors can be delivered with a separate IR light source for use in night vision.. applications. The default wavelength is 740 nm as it provides good ANSI Contrast, reduces visible versus IR lens focus variation, and removes the need for specialized IR optimized lens options.
Cyber security
Cyber security is a high priority at Norxe. With dedicated in-house functions and layers of security that leverages people, processes and technology to minimize and mitigate cyber related risks to our organization and products.
Design, warranty and support
Norxe projectors are built to the highest standard using the best components available. They come with an industry-leading 5-year warranty which is extendable to a total of 10 years. The optical engine and light source are sealed, eliminating the need for periodical cleaning. All Norxe products are designed for low maintenance and long lifetime. Being more than just a supplier of high-end projectors, we pride ourselves on being a technology partner. We never stop learning.
