Henning Kirchner
Director of Business Development, Central and Eastern Europe and Benelux
Henning’s path into projection began with an IT systems apprenticeship and a role as a technical trainer, followed by years in pre-sales and project management and then business development across the professional visualization industry, including market development for Training & Simulation. He joined Norxe in 2016 as Head of Business Development and has served as Director of Business Development since 2021. Henning has also served in the Board of DIrectors at Norxe.

A good coffee in the morning, on my own in silence, is a must.

Getting up early, and also staying awake late.

A good brisket.
Do you have a passion or hobby outside of work?
Taking pictures is my near-daily hobby, and I am also a scuba diver.
What is you favourite Norxe product, and why?
The P1, because it is where everything began.
What part of your job would surprise people outside the industry?
Where our products are being used.
What is a small detail you obsess over that makes a big difference for customers?
My personal relationship with each customer, because people buy from people.
What does “quality” mean to you in your role?
It is one of the most important topics. If our partners cannot rely on our product, they will buy somewhere else.
What do you think sets Norxe apart from the rest of the industry?
The people.
What is one skill people in your line of work absolutely need?
Good communication skills and technological understanding.
What part of your job do you enjoy the most?
Visiting our partner and end-user sites to see the installations.
What is a detail in your work that makes a big difference for customers?
Our Norxe team.
What is a project or moment you are particularly proud of?
A partner in Germany placed one of their first Norxe orders after seeing only a prototype. That early trust in Norxe meant a great deal.
What do you enjoy most about working at Norxe?
Working together in a team of different cultures.
How would you describe the Norxe team in three words?
Strong, passionate, and professional.
What is the best thing a colleague has taught you?
Have everything ready. You never know when you will be asked.
What is your proudest moment at Norxe so far?
The same one: a partner in Germany placing a first order on the strength of a Norxe prototype.
