THE CHALLENGE
Immersive rides can’t afford a soft image.
Themed entertainment attractions run for thousands of cycles a year, often on motion platforms, and guests notice the moment stereoscopic 3D loses brightness or sharpness.
Passive-3D systems lose a significant amount of light through glasses and filters, so the source projector has to work harder without compromising colour, refresh rate, or reliability. Add motion-platform vibration and near-continuous operation into the mix, and off-the-shelf projection simply isn’t built for the job.
Our Recommendation for Themed Entertainment
featured deployment · case study
3D stereoscopic projection just made a quantum leap in performance
Fresh from its debut at IAAPA, the P20 4K 3DS is raising the bar for compact stereoscopic projection in themed entertainment, combining high per-eye brightness, native 4K, and motion-platform certification in a single, serviceable head.
