From May 19 to 22, Norxe projection technology is featured on site at the Smart Prototypes Summit 2026, hosted by HBK and VI-grade at the VI-grade SimCenter in Udine, Italy.
The Summit brings together engineers, OEMs, suppliers, and research institutes to explore how virtual and physical testing combine to accelerate vehicle development, with live demos, technical sessions, and engineering exchanges across four days at the VI-grade SimCenter.
As part of a technical collaboration with VI-grade, Norxe P60 4K projectors are integrated into the HyperDock Powered Ride and Comfort Exploration with HexaRev demo. HexaRev and HyperDock work together as a full-spectrum simulation environment for ride, handling, NVH, and drivability evaluation, letting engineering teams assess multiple vehicle attributes in a single session.
For driver-in-the-loop applications, image quality and timing both matter. Norxe projectors are true solid-state with no moving parts, and the P60 light source is rated for 60,000 hours of operational life. Measured latency goes down to 5.2 ms at 240 Hz, suitable for closed-loop driving simulators where visual lag directly affects driver behavior and correlation with physical test data.
